This unique property is located in central Corfu on a steeply sloping and overgrown plot. The slope of the terrain, the narrow outline and the location of the plot constituted a design challenge. The view to the sea and Gouvia Marina were of crucial importance.

This resulted in a design that adheres fully to the landscape, with the main structure of the building developing in cubic volumes across the width of the plot. An ‘atrium’ has been created at the rear of the house by digging an internal courtyard into the ground, ensuring comfortable, fully sheltered outdoor spaces, while underground and undercut sections have complemented the building needs and requirements. A unique architectural component is the suspended infinity pool that complements the exterior configurations on the main facade of the house, where guests can enjoy the panoramic view, with the sensation of “hovering” towards it.
